We have been on the Windows Vista bandwagon since the launch of Windows Vista and now, it is time to move onto the latest version - Windows 7. The only Windows application that we feel that lives up to its name is Live Messenger. Not only is Live Messenger a great application for those of us that use Windows, but it is also a great utility for those of us that use Linux and Mac OS X. With this application you are able to send and receive SMS messages through your mobile phone via your PC. So far we have been pretty easy on this program, but that may change with time. This software can also download files from the internet.

When we started this program, it was easy to download and install. All we had to do was run the setup wizard and it would set everything up for us. We did not need to worry about the settings being lost or anything like that, and that was great. The next step would be to select where we wanted to install the application. The next step would be to follow the prompts to make sure that we followed the directions correctly.

We ran this application in the same manner that we would a Mac or Linux application. After that, we noticed that we were getting some garbled sound at times. We decided to make a couple of changes to our computer's sound card drivers and that worked perfectly.
